The "Dar Aladin" was our first stop in Morocco and Anass, our host, made sure its a perfect one. He waited for us at a public meeting point and led us to his beautiful house. It was what I imagined a typical moroccan home would look like (although I learned throughout my trip that thats not the case ;)). It was very colorful, not too big (but totally enough for two people and just a night), it has a roof top terrace with a kitchen open for using and a big bonus point goes to its great location, right in the midst of the medina of Chefchaouen. We paid 35 Euro a night and an additional 20 DH for parking.
This place is highly recommended for staying in Chefchaouen!
The Apartments of Abdellah (Residence Marwa) are situated in the outskirts of Ouarzazate. They were very spacious and from the terrace we had a beautiful view over the hills. Abdellah picked us up from the Kasbah in the centre and made sure we find our way to his place.
For such a huge apartment it was quite cheap with 22 Euro a night. We had to pay an additional 2 Euro tax fee which wasn't mentioned clearly on AirBnB (he changed that now) but even then it was a good price.
Recommended as a quite and clean place to stay in Ouarzazate.
This place had me captured right from the start. We got there when it was dark already and we were greated by the most adorable little garden with cozy lights and a lovely atmosphere. Inside this impression didn't stop and I instantly wished I could stay longer than just a night. The owner of this place, Denise, made it heaven on earth with a great and thoughtful interior and local fabrics.
Denise cooks vegetarian or vegan, what was a very nice change since food in Morocco can be quite meaty.
We paid 29 Euro a night and it was worth every cent.
My favorite stay throughout our trip! Denise is called a "super host" on AirBnB for a reason :)
